Photo tips for iPhone Kupi Dance AI

Short answer: use a sharp photograph of one adult, facing the camera in even light, with the face and clothing clearly visible. Simple, readable source images are a better starting point than group photos, heavy filters or a face hidden behind an object.

Make the face easy to read

Choose an image where the eyes, nose, mouth and jawline are visible. The dance moves from a close view to a wider view, so the reference needs to describe a consistent face at different distances. A heavily tilted head, a hand across the mouth or a phone covering the cheek removes information that the generated character would otherwise be able to use.

Natural, even lighting is useful because it shows both sides of the face. Harsh colored lights or a bright window behind the person can hide details in shadow. You do not need a professional studio photograph, but a clean camera image is preferable to a compressed screenshot, a thumbnail copied from a messaging app or an image with a strong beauty filter.

Keep the clothing reference clear

The character is instructed to wear the clothes in the photograph throughout the video. Choose an outfit that is visible enough to describe its shape and colors. A head-only crop leaves more of the outfit unspecified. A clear upper body, or a full-body photograph with a readable face, gives a stronger starting point when you want the result to resemble a particular outfit.

Avoid prominent brand logos, text-heavy clothing or private information printed on a shirt or badge. Small text and fine patterns can change during motion. The aim is a recognizable person and dance, not an exact product photograph. Check your source image for addresses, work passes, screens or other details you would not want reproduced in a shareable video.

Use one person, not a group

The current template accepts one photograph for the only person in the routine. A group photograph is not a way to add friends: it makes the intended subject less clear. Crop your own source image before uploading when another person is visible beside you, while leaving enough space around the intended face and keeping the image sharp.

Only use your own photograph or an adult's image with their agreement. The consent statement is not a substitute for asking the person. Do not upload a minor, a celebrity or somebody who has not agreed to appear in an AI video. Think about whether sharing the result could mislead viewers or create an unwanted impression about the person.

Set realistic expectations

A better input can help, but AI video may still change facial details, fingers and objects during fast movement. The folding phone and the parts of the routine that briefly cover the face are especially important to review. HD increases the output resolution; it does not remove every artifact or turn a reconstruction into a recording of a real performance.

The 480p and 720p HD options both make a 15-second, 9:16 video with the original sound. Review the finished clip before posting, identify it as AI-generated, and respect the destination platform's music rules.
